The Wages of Sin is Death…But do we consider the interest on that wage?
Today I’m doing demolition in a home I helped construct. The work of weeks destroyed in a few hours. I wish I had thought of the destruction I was wreaking in my life as I invited the demolition crew of sin into my life.
They asked high wages. And eventually you pay with interest.
I’m paying wages right now. And it hurts far more than the ache in my muscles. Every breath is torment. Every small conversation is a fresh point of pain.
Wages indeed. Anyone who thinks Hell isn’t real just needs to walk in my head for a day.
They’ll be a believer in the wages of sin.
